I'm sure that this year there have been a lot of people watching Idol, after the amazing performances from contestants in Season 7. I thought that the majority of the contestants were great that year, and, even though you probably don't care, I feel like writing about the contestants on Idol this season. Here they are.
Allison - She has a really, really interesting voice that keeps you waiting throughout the entire episode to see her performances. I'm guessing that she'll make it pretty far, and she has an incredibly large fanbase, particularly from the "rocker" people.
Danny - As my father would say, he's an all around good guy and a good singer, but he has that "up to something" vibe, and that bothers me. Over the season, I've been counting all the pairs of glasses that the guy has owned, and he has to have about 5 or 6. The thing is, he tries a little too hard to look like he didn't try in the least.
Kris - I'm surprised at his instrumental ability as well as his vocals, but I'm wishing someone would fire the sound people! All the judges say that his guitar really adds to the performance and the sound people turn it so way down into the mix that you can't hear it at all. Great vocalist though, and I hope he finds a career in music. I'd buy his album.
Adam - This guy has the most amazing range. Something about him is very interesting... He's almost creepy (not in a bad way, don't worry!) and has a ton of charisma, but that really keeps you interested in his performances. Amazing vocalist, and I personally am hoping that he wins.
Lil - I think that Lil is a fantastic vocalist, but there are so many Lils out there in the world. You can find people like her all over the place, but I have a feeling that she'll be in the competition a while more. The lady has a rather large fanbase.
Matt - What more can I say? I don't think he'll win, but he's a great singer and will probably be around for a while. Very interesting guy, but not too charismatic. Sometimes it's a little hard to stay interested in his performances.
Anoop - The guy's a good singer, but I have a feeling he's out next week. His performances are totally forgettable, and I think he's great but just not for this point in the competition.
Overall, I think Adam's gonna win this competition. Most likely Danny will be runner up.
